After graduating from UW-Whitewater with a degree in finance with an emphasis in insurance, I spent 6 years in the public sector, working with school districts and municipalities on their life and disability insurance and helping employees and retirees navigate their retirement benefits.
I now use that experience and in-depth knowledge of benefit packages to help build financial plans for my clients, many of whom are teachers, counselors, principals and administrators. I enjoy helping people maximize their retirement benefits and putting together plans aimed at enabling people to retire earlier and more confident than they otherwise would.
Outside of advising I consider myself a 'suburban gardener', growing several types of fruits and veggies in the large garden at my home. I enjoy eating them but sometimes I also turn them into wine! The Golden Girls (my chickens) also enjoy the fresh food they get from the garden. My favorite time spent is with family and friends, whether it be up in the Wisconsin Northwoods or right at home in Waukesha.
