I love to water ski, hike with my black lab Bella, and am a foodie! I was born and raised in Elkhorn on a small hobby farm and have had an interest in personal finance since my freshman year in high school. It all started when I used to sit in on meetings with my parents and their financial advisor.
I learned from a young age to chase my dreams from my father, who owns and operates his own company that is centered around his passion. He used to always tell me growing up, “If the decision doesn’t scare you, it probably isn’t the right one. You won’t get anything rewarding if you don’t take a few risks.” This is the motto I always try to live by.
I graduated from UW-Platteville in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration, with a double emphasis in finance and professional sales and a double minor in entrepreneurship and accounting. While in Platteville I was affiliated with their track team as a pole vaulter.
I began my career in finance with a few different companies along the way. I spent two years interning at Northwestern Mutual where I learned a lot about the insurance industry. I Moved to Equitable Advisors LLC right after college where I received most of my licenses and gained more experience in financial planning. At Equitable my focus was on retirement planning for pensioned employees – mostly school districts and public hospitals. I helped these employees set up their company-matched retirement funds and walked them through their pension, insurance, and social security benefits.
At Savaglia, I use this experience and knowledge of the industry to better support our advisors, allowing the advisors to focus more on the most important part of the industry – the clients!
Away from work, I enjoy water skiing, hiking, exploring new restaurants, and crafting! I also like to volunteer with the local humane societies and am an active big sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of Milwaukee.
