Meet Dawn Ellis, Client Services Representative

That's exactly what Dawn Ellis, one of our Client Services Representatives, brings to the office every day.

This month, we're excited to introduce Dawn and share a little more about the person behind the smile our clients have come to know and appreciate.

💼 Building Relationships That Matter

Dawn has been a member of the Savaglia Financial Advisors team for two and a half years, supporting both clients and advisors through every step of the planning process.

From scheduling appointments and processing paperwork to maintaining records and handling client service requests, Dawn helps ensure that the office runs smoothly behind the scenes.

But if you ask her what she enjoys most about her role, it isn't checking tasks off a list.

"My favorite part of my job is the relationships I've built with both our clients and my coworkers."

She loves getting to know the people who walk through the doors at SFA and helping make what can often feel like a complicated financial process a little easier, and a lot more personal.

That people-first mindset is something clients notice every day.

📈 Helping Clients Navigate Important Moments

One of Dawn's favorite things about working in the financial industry is that no two days are ever the same.

Every client has different goals, different questions, and different needs; which means every day brings new opportunities to learn and help.

Recently, Dawn has become the primary point person for tax-related service at SFA, something she takes great pride in.

She enjoys helping clients navigate tax season by keeping everything organized, answering questions, and making sure every detail is handled accurately and efficiently.

Whether she's assisting with paperwork or walking someone through an unfamiliar process, Dawn strives to make every interaction as seamless and stress-free as possible.

🤝 A Trusted Connection

Long before Dawn joined the SFA team, she already knew the firm from another perspective, as a client.

Her family's relationship with one of our advisors dates back to the 1980s, making her connection to Savaglia Financial Advisors a deeply personal one.

When the opportunity to join the team became available, it felt like a natural fit.

"It was exciting to become part of an organization that my family already knew and trusted."

Today, she enjoys helping create that same sense of trust and confidence for every client she serves.

🏡 Rooted in Community

A lifelong resident of Cudahy, Dawn and her husband are raising their two sons in the community they proudly call home.

Their family calendar is filled with baseball games, practices, and tournaments, as both boys play the sport, including travel baseball for their oldest son.

When she's not cheering from the sidelines, you'll often find Dawn tending to her garden, working out at Burn Boot Camp, baking for family and friends, or escaping to her family's cabin in Rhinelander.

At home, life is made even more entertaining by Olive, the family dog, and Ninja, their cat, who each bring plenty of personality to the household.

For Dawn, the greatest joy comes from creating memories with family, whether that's gathered around the dinner table, spending weekends outdoors, or simply enjoying time together.

🌟 More Than Meets the Eye

While Dawn is known around the office for her calm, caring personality, there's another side of her that often surprises people.

She's incredibly competitive, loves challenging herself at the gym, and once held her motorcycle license.

"I like to tell my boys I used to be cool," she jokes.

These days, her adventures look a little different, but she still enjoys pushing herself, setting goals, and embracing new challenges.

There is, however, one thing she refuses to conquer.

Spiders.

Even the bravest people have their limits.

One of Dawn's favorite reminders is:

"You don't have to be perfect, you just have to keep showing up."

It's a philosophy she applies to every area of life, whether she's helping clients, supporting her family, or working toward personal goals.

When asked who she'd most like to share a meal with, Dawn's answer wasn't a celebrity or historical figure.

She'd choose her grandparents.

Looking back, she wishes she'd asked more questions, learned more family recipes from her grandmothers, and listened longer to the stories her grandfathers had to tell.

It's a reminder to appreciate the people around us while we have the chance.
